The director of Tapps, Mr Udai Singh met Team Digital Punch in July 2017. At that time, they were selling their products only on Amazon and Flipkart. Mr Singh told us that he was looking for expansion of his business through channel sales. But, Tapps was lagging behind in terms of the digital presence of their brand.
We felt the need to build the digital presence and credibility for Tapps prior to generation of channel sales for them. Therefore, Team Digital Punch designed and developed a unique industry-oriented website on the WordPress platform for Tapps which talks about the USP very clearly. We designed their tagline as well as their brand logo. We customised the web design, product description and website content for Tapps website.
Thereafter, we developed the entire business strategy for their franchise development. We designed all the branding modules for them like their business presentations, creative web banners and content for their social media presence.
Next, the entire concept of the brand was to sell the products online. The initial investment for franchise development was Rs 10 lac. In this case, the challenge was the delivery of their products in different slots. So, we were looking for seasoned business partners who were patient enough to wait for the delivery of products for 2-3 months after payment of franchise development amount. Hence, choosing the target audience was a tedious task here.
Firstly, we did our research and identified the people who were searching for online business opportunities at Google in the past 3 months. We prepared business strategies to create franchises region-wise. The research was performed PAN India. Similar research was performed on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn also. After analysis of the research reports, we were prepared to hit the right audience in the market. Following that, we prepared several online campaigns over Google, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
We also created a landing page over their website where we redirected all the traffic of our campaigns. The interested people were asked to answer a few questions in an enquiry form. In the initial 7 days, our team was analysing the quality of the leads generated on the basis of the client’s feedback.
We had signed an agreement with the client which consisted of the closing of the franchise in addition to delivery of the generated leads. For which they would provide us 10% of the total amount after successful closers. We generated 50 leads from various social media platforms. Out of these leads, our client closed his 1st franchise in New Delhi namely RKA enterprises. It is noteworthy that the franchise has been closed for 15 years.
After the closure in North India, the next task was to find relevant partners in the West part of the country. All this while, we analysed the right social media platform for the generation of quality leads. We focussed on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in addition to Google. In the next phase, we closed one franchise in Indore and another in Pune. The most recent franchise closed is from Hyderabad, Telangana.
After successful expansion of the business, we came up with their Press Release. The content for their Press Release was also created by Team Digital Punch. All prominent news platforms and portals have picked up their press release. Also, their Press Release comes up at the top at Google News when we type the keyword ‘Loafers shoes’.
