Would you trust self-help books to see real change?

Radhika Kawlra Singh shares insight on how sustained mental inquiry creates rightful change

Radhika Kawlra Singh’s trilogy of ‘YOU’ books handhold you to acknowledge your un-manifested potential. In an interview with Digpu News, she speaks about ‘the failed human endeavour to evolve by greatness.’

You have spent two decades practicing as a therapist, handholding many to work through their psychological dilemmas. What governs the principal technique?

In therapy, I drive people to build reassurance so they live with more faith. Just as I help them look for the good in themselves, they start to witness the good in other people and in each situation that unfolds. The critical process utilizes regression therapy, which facilitates them to walk through the most painful parts of their experiences. In letting go of their stored emotions, they open their hearts for forgiveness and thereby shift many perspectives. They are able to replace the voidwith something more extensive, which is unique to each individual.

How close are your self-help books to actual therapy?

I help people in my chair, remove comma come face to face with their emotions so they may build enough resilience to handle challenges. The books are a sustained means to get behind issues. They attempt to cajole the subconscious into seeking the many repressed emotions attached to incidences and associated with bitter experiences with other people. To resolve your dilemma requires you to bring up your vulnerability, then effectively let it go. These books fully assist all the people who hesitate to approach a therapist for fear of exposing their weaker selves. By these means, they become a trusted means to build on your instincts and help you function independently.

Could you share some insight on the potential impact your books are likely to create?

Buried within the self is the power of plasticity and change. People are only limited by their unknowing to uncover greater insight. Each one has the best understanding of their emotional, mental, and spiritual needs learned through their experiences. The trilogy of ‘YOU’, books serves as an enormous resource to help the reader remain triggered, motivated, and use the step-by-step techniques offered to make a real improvement. You are constantly changing in every way; thus, your needs too are shifting. Just as you know yourself better, you also accept that any sense of fulfillment is temporary. The various mind tools prepared for the readers through the books are highly persuasive as they enable holistic development: they make you rely on your instincts to facilitate newer fulfilling experiences. The collective impact of this is required to enable the much-awaited cumulative shift in humanity.

People face endless trials yet recognize the need to work on their failures only when they feel thoroughly vulnerable. How does an individual know it’s the correct time to make an effort to make things better for himself?

Consistency and persistence are the basic formulas that need to be applied to ensure a positive momentum established to create any shift. On being consistently faced with challenges, a person will become persistent and search for a means to make amends or repair a situation, hurt, or pain. Humans regularly acquire relationships yet fear losing them. When you come into the awareness of something gone wrong, you tend to dwell on it longer. While this awareness increases the threshold of pain, it also plants it into your memory. On the contrary, when you consistently choose to find a better means to adapt to your limitation, you develop an increased awareness to tackle new challenges and dismiss any new discord that shows up on your path. A healthy new habit needs to be added to your routine, such that a sustained effort enables you to feel harmonious at most times.

Do you also believe that you are giving away too much power by offering well-researched self-help books like yours?

The power to heal does not lie with the therapist. Every person has the inherent means to erase all fear and connect with their higher self to feel fulfilled. If there is wisdom that has been acquired, there should exist a willingness to share. Holding onto technique implies it has been entirely inherited by oneself. An honest therapist will offer the complete means to repair all discord and help you grow in awareness. This kind of empowerment prepares you to remove all known and unknown limitedness. When readers inherit positive attributes that guide them to meet success, it also serves as valuable feedback.

Your books not only demonstrate your expertise as a mature therapist, but they also read as strong narratives on the journey of the Spirit.  In your opinion, what is the correct way humans should adopt to move forward?

We focus on satisfying our own immediate needs, and as a result of that, we have collectively given birth to the failed human endeavor to evolve by greatness. When we focus on others’ needs and accept what we can give up, we bring well-collected insight to manifest what is collectively required. Since all things are harmonious in spirit and strength, the way forward requires every person to recognize the unity within the diversity.

Do you believe people are ready to help themselves?

There is more going on inside the human brain at every moment in time, than is processed by the conscious mind. When people decide not to change – they will never be ready. When they are ready, they will be happier to discover their power by exploring all possibilities.

Explained: Google Outage And Its Potential Impact

Explained: Google Outage And Its Potential Impact

Even after Google outage, Google maintains that system reliability is its top priority.

It was for the first time in the history of search engine giant Google that its services became inaccessible on Monday, December 14.

Most of the Google services, from Gmail to YouTube to Google Drive, suffered a mass outage which lasted over an hour.

Users, across the globe, complained of inability to access emails. Some were logged out of ongoing Google Meet sessions.

What Exactly Caused The Massive Google Outage?

According to a statement of Google, the outage of “approximately 45 minutes” was due to “an internal storage quota issue.” The statement confirmed, “Services requiring users to log in experienced high error rates during this period.”

However, the statement reaffirmed ‘All services are now restored”. While apologizing to everyone affected, Google promised a “thorough follow up review to ensure this problem cannot recur in the future.”

There were problems reported with Gmail earlier as well. However, Google had maintained that it resolved those issues. However, hundreds of users continued to post on social media about their inability to access Gmail.

Google, on the other hand, maintains that system reliability is its top priority and they are consistently improving their services.

Gmail, Youtube, Google down Massive server outage causes ruckus globally - Digpu News

Were All Google Services And Users Affected?

With a service of the scale and reach of Google – just Gmail and YouTube together have over 3.5 billion global users – it is now increasingly rare to see an outage that affects all services and users.

This is because users, even from a single geographic region, are hosted over multiple servers across the world. And even on these servers, there are backups that activate quickly if something goes wrong.

Reliability of Google Services Questioned:

The outage gains importance given that there has been a surge in users across all online services, and certainly in those offered by Google.

There have already been questions asked on whether the backend infrastructure of tech-giants like Google are strong enough to withstand this spike in load, that too over a large period of time.

The companies that depend on Google for backend services are more worried about the impact of such an outage. This is a serious concern, given the mass adoption of online services amid the pandemic.

J&K DDC Elections: Kashmiris have answered BJP aptly, PAGD leaders say

J&K DDC Elections: Kashmiris have answered BJP aptly, PAGD leaders say

Vote share of BJP in DDC Elections shows people have rejected Gupkar says Anurag Thakur

SRINAGAR (J&K)

In the recently held District Development Council (DDC) elections of Jammu and Kashmir, the amalgam of various political parties—People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD)—secured the highest number of seats. However, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single-largest party with a total of 75 seats in its kitty.

Being the first elections to be held in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of the erstwhile state’s special status in August 2019, the regional parties including National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), People’s Conference (PC), Jammu Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) and Communist Party of India (Marxist) decided to fight the elections under the banner of PAGD, with the objective to deny any seats to BJP, especially in Kashmir region.

However, BJP still won on three seats in the valley, the PAGD leaders didn’t leave any opportunity to propagate the verdict as people’s anger towards the Saffron party and its policies, including the decision to scrap Article 370 and extend and modify new laws to the Union Territory.

Even when the PAGD alliance won 110 seats, BJP secured the largest vote share in the Union Territory in the DDC Elections. Explaining the same, some experts pointed out that the voters didn’t vote specifically against BJP but for issues of development. This kept the vote share down for the PAGD candidates, and at many places, BJP and Independent candidates emerged surprise winners.

As far as the Indian National Congress (INC) is concerned, the party has been taking a confusing stance. It held meetings with PAGD members and agreed to be part of the alliance. However, later backtracked on its position and said that it will fight the elections along with the PAGD, but will partner at strategic constituencies. This was after being criticized by a few BJP leaders for partnering with ‘Gupkar Gang which seeks help from enemy forces’ like China and Pakistan.

J&K DDC Polls Kashmiris have answered BJP aptly, PAGD leaders say - Digpu News

It is pertinent to mention here that out of the 278 seats for which results have been declared by the J&K Election Commission so far, besides the PAGD and the BJP, Independent candidates have won 50, Congress 26, Apni Party 12, PDF and the National Panthers Party two each and the BSP one.

The results of two constituencies – one each in Bandipora and Kupwara districts of north Kashmir – are still awaited as counting of votes has been deferred there till further orders, officials said.

CPI(M) leader Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami said the result of the DDC Elections went in favour of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration and it was a clear indication that the people of Jammu and Kashmir want “restoration of their rights”.

Tarigami said, “The verdict is an eye-opener for the BJP government, which had launched a propaganda last August that people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted its arbitrary and unconstitutional decision of revoking the erstwhile state’s special status under Article 370.”

Challenging the PAGD’s assertion that the people have spoken out against the abrogation of Article 370 in the DDC elections, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said the BJP and Independents got over 52 per cent votes which shows that the Gupkar Alliance has been rejected.

Noting that the BJP has emerged as the single-largest party and its vote share is more than the Gupkar Alliance, he claimed that those who were happy with the scrapping of Article 370 voted for the BJP and the Independents. “If you put the BJP and Independents vote share together, it makes over 52 percent votes. This shows J&K people have rejected the Gupkar Gang,” he said.

The people of Jammu and Kashmir have spoken out against “terrorism and separatism” and voted in favour of democracy and nationalism, the BJP leader, who was actively involved in the campaign, said.

Importantly, the poll results mean that the BJP has secured control of at least six DDCs in Jammu but none in Kashmir, where the People’s Alliance has a majority in nine DDCs.

Given the fact that there is no clear-cut majority in the five Councils, the Independent candidates do have a vital role. Although, the observers believe that Independent candidates are not going to be king makers in most cases, but there is still a lot of drama awaiting.

In fact, the drama has already unfolded as NC’s Omar Abdullah alleged that the winning Independent candidates are being transported to Srinagar for “discussions” with the BJP leadership.

Pinarayi Vijayan: Central govt not respecting farmers

As farmers’ protest against the Centre’s agricultural reforms entered their 28th day on Wednesday, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan slammed the BJP-led Central government for not ‘respecting’ the ‘anna data’.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was addressing a demonstration by farmers’ organizations in Thiruvananthapuram against the three newly enacted farm laws. “Our country has witnessed many historic protests, of which most big protests were organized by farmers. Even in Kerala, many such protests have taken place. One of the biggest farmers’ agitations is going on in India right now. Farmers are anna data and the present government in the Centre is not respecting them,” said Pinarayi Vijayan.

He said the BJP, in past, had said that they will implement the recommendations made in the report submitted by the National Commission on Farmers (NCF) under the chairmanship of Professor MS Swaminathan.

“The same party who said they will implement the Swaminathan Commission report is ruling the country. Instead of implementing it, they only remember it before Lok Sabha polls,” he added.

Pinarayi Vijayan’s address came on Farmers’ Day, which is observed on December 23 to celebrate the national contributions of farmers and agriculturers.

Even after several rounds of talks with the government, farmers have been protesting on different borders of the national capital since November 26 against the three newly enacted farm laws-Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.

Exclusive Online Nutrition Portal Clocks a Large Revenue within 3 years

HealthXP started as an online store is now expanding to the offline market

Nutrition Supplements have gained popularity among the Indian population for a few years now. This gain in popularity increased the demand for these supplements. To provide to this rising demand, many new players entered the market. One of those players was HealthXp.

In 2014, HealthXP started its journey in the industry as an e-commerce platform seller under the name Xpresshop. They started their business as a reseller of premium nutritional supplements on e-commerce portals like Amazon and Flipkart. Soon, these platforms were crowded with foreign and local products and sellers. Confusion among the customers was created as to the type and brand of products to buy. There were too many products and very little information about those products.

The First Stepping Stone

To overcome this challenge, HealthXP realized a need for a stand-alone portal. In 2017, they came up with an online portal: HealthXP.in. Alongside, they also started their first store in Bandra, Mumbai. This year marked to be a milestone for HealthXP. The driving factor for starting an online portal was to build the trust of customers. They believe in  Authenticity and Transparency. This is what makes them stand apart from other brands and platforms. The website is completely informative and user friendly as well.

A Major Milestone

In 2019, HealthXP introduced its own line of products named HealthXP. This was another major milestone for HealthXP. All the products of the in-house brand are made in India. They are also way more affordable than imported products. This decision was taken in order to become a part of the ‘Make in India’ movement. All the products are made from scratch in India itself. It also among the top-selling brands of the website.

Franchising with HealthXP

Franchising has been the next step towards growth for HealthXP. Franchising with HealthXP comes with a set of benefits. They connect the franchisees directly to the importers. The franchisees have the complete freedom to choose products among the complete inventory as per their wish. The franchisees get to cash out the goodwill already created by HealthXP. The marketing cost is minimal as they also add the store to their list of nearby stores. By default, authenticity and affordability are a benefit to the franchisee. They also get extra margins on products of the in-house brand: HealthXP.

HealthXP charges Rs. 3,00,000 per year as the Franchisee fees for a period of 5 years. According to the set standards, a new Franchisee is supposed to purchase goods worth 8,00,000 in first order to fulfil and place the stores according to Healthxp standards.

Big Numbers and Vision

HealthXp started off as a company with a 5 crore revenue. Over time, the company and the brand grew. With achieving each milestone, the revenue kept increasing and new ideas kept taking birth. Within a span of 3 years, HealthXP went from 5 to 50 crores. In March 2020, they crossed the 50 crore mark as well. Franchising with HealthXP provides loads of benefits.
