A young duo of gamers is scripting new heights of success on YouTube, with their channel making it to the top gaming channels in India. Their youtube channel ‘TWO-SIDE GAMERS’ has achieved a whopping five million followers, which is a rare feat, especially in the gaming category. The duo, named Ritik Jain and Jash Dhokha, play games live together on the channel and keep entertaining their fans with engaging commentary.

The success of Ritik and Jash has surprised many among the top YouTube creators who tag the young men as ‘inspirational characters’ for new YouTubers. With over five million subscribers, TWO-SIDE GAMERS is now one of the biggest and most popular channels for live streaming games like Free Fire and GTA V.

Unfazed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the duo has been actively live streaming gaming content for their ever-growing fan base of subscribers. They play a lot of games on their channel, besides doing prank videos and vlogging. Touted as ‘India’s first duo gaming channel’, they also provide gaming tips often.

“Being brothers, we used to play games together and intended to start a channel on YouTube. As soon as the (Garena) Free Fire game was introduced as a multi-player game, we wasted no time to stream it live,” said Ritik. While feeding the soul of their passion for gaming with consistent streaming sessions, Jash and Ritik have not compromised with their education. “We are more focussed into gaming but we haven’t given up our studies. We know that it will come handy as we progress in our career,” Jash said, with a smile.

Interestingly, they also upload music videos on their channel. Premiered on July 01, 2020, their music video ‘THE TSG SONG – Full Power’ has garnered more than three million views so far. Moreover, they’re one of the first gamers to have collaborated with HipHop legend ‘Sez on the beat’ and ‘Ebullient Play’ label for making the peppy song.

Given the ever-increasing views on their videos, their channel has so far accumulated a whopping 567 million views, the number which could possibly be more when you will be reading this. What has contributed more to their gigantic success is their engaging and exciting storytelling style while playing the games. It has had a significant impact for turning their channel into a brand on YouTube.

Concerning things like building a screen presence, creating content for social media, and getting sponsorships, the duo spoke highly of Aman Garg & Anirudh Nagpal (co-founders of Ebullient Gaming) who professionally managed all this for them. Notably, Ebullient Gaming is an e-sports and talent management company that specialises in professional gamers and streamers.

However, success wasn’t instant. Like all YouTubers, they had to apply to the site’s partner programme to make money from adverts running on their videos. To achieve partner status, a channel needs 1,000 subscribers, and for people to have watched 4,000 hours’ worth of videos in the last 12 months.

Ritik says that they earned a meagre amount per month at the beginning. It wasn’t until one of their videos went viral and subscribers swelled and they realized the money-making potential of YouTube. Besides ad revenue, they make money from partnering with brands to promote their products or services in their videos, and from members who pay a fee for access to exclusive content and privileges.

Today, they are earning in seven-figures per month while the young gamers consistently work to make their channel more competitive and entertaining. Besides, they also represented India in ‘Free Fire’ tournaments in Indonesia and Thailand. Pertinently, the channel which was started in September 2018, is a huge success today. This dynamic duo keeps playing games, streaming live on YouTube and witnessing the growth of their channel every day.

The teenage youtube gamers recommend the aspiring Youtubers to keep the focus on their content and avoid controversies as it won’t be of any help in the longer run. “Ultimately, content is the king of everything you do on YouTube,” they say.

Google has been facing some issues since midnight today as users are unable to use Gmail, Google Drive and Google Drive properly. It all started when people across the world reported that they were not able to attach files to their emails.

In conversation with Digpu News Network, a Customer Executive at Google India said,” Yes, we are facing some issues in the Gmail, google meet and Google Drive. Our engineers are working to rectify the issue. It is expected to be resolved in a couple of hours.”

Users have been flooding the microblogging site Twitter with queries since the outage occured.

This is not the first time this year that Google has suffered such an outage. Google services went down previously in July this year and people starting reporting the issue on social media.

Speaking about this, Kunwar Devender Singh, CEO, Digpu News Network, said, “Of course, Google must have put their best people at work to resolve this outage. One of the major concerns at the moment is data security. I hope this is only a minor outage and not a potential hacking attempt on Google.”

He further added, ” Mostly, people across all industries and business segments including freelancers and students use gmails for their communication. There is a lot at stake if this is anything more than an outage.”

For the expansion of small-scale industries and small service providers, Direct Sales Methodology is of great help as much funding is not required.

“Direct Selling Industry has a huge potential to create employment for youth”, says Adv P M Mishra. But unfortunately, People avoid Direct Sales as Direct Selling/ Multi-Level Marketing/ Network Marketing is misunderstood as the Ponzi scheme by the public. This is because some operators are running fraudulent schemes in the name of Helping Plan, Donation Plan, Loan Plan, Crowd Funding, Forex Trading, CryptoCurrency MLM, CryptoCurrency Mining MLM, Stock Market Investment plan, Click plan etc.

After the issue of Direct Selling Guidelines by Ministry of Consumer Affairs in 2016, all these scammers have devised new innovating ideas to loot common man. They form a company, arrange a few products and copy business plan of some existing XYZ company. Then they register the company with “Department of Consumer Affairs” and by showing their company as listed on Government website, claiming themselves legit, are able to easily sell their products to the common man. However, a few things are a matter of great concern:

1.So many companies are listed in the Consumer Affairs ministry website. Is it only a registration or the Department does some scrutiny of credentials of promoters or products as such?

2.How secure are the commission plans of these direct selling companies? Is it anyhow scrutinized and regulated by Department of Consumer Affairs?

As per Adv P M Mishra, “Government of India should consider implementing a procedure wherein any application for such registration is thoroughly scrutinized before allowing these firms to take undue advantage of Government Guidelines and start functioning.”

Few of his suggestions are –

1. Scrutinize Criminal and Financial Background of Directors of companies and preferably meeting with directors.
2. Close Scrutiny of Business Plan by qualified CAs.
3. Quality Report of Products or Services.
4. Genuine costing of Products & Services for public.
5. Details of network of branches and their operations.
6. Periodical renewal of approval for each product or service.
7. Detailed reporting of operations periodically with approved software.

Transparency in registration will bring back trust of public in Direct Selling Industry. Presently, even the most reputed companies are scared to launch their products and services by direct selling methodology due to its bad reputation.

“With the pandemic bringing many industries and businesses to the ground, its high time that people understand direct selling as a valid business model and make the most of it. However, there are still some insiders who misuse this industry to achieve their nefarious designs and exploit the public by then selling fake dreams”, says Adv PM Mishra.
